I found this beautiful brocade in the back of my fabric cupboard and thought it would make a great evening clutch. This fabric is incredibly difficult to work with but makes the most gorgeous clutches! You have to iron it at a very low heat and it frays so much when you have working with it.
I forgot to reduce the heat at one point when switching from ironing canvas to ironing the brocade and there is a bit of melting at the back of the clutch. It barely shows so I thought this would make a great giveaway item! All I ask if that you comment below and tell me if you own any clutches and if so, how often do you use them? I will grant one entry if you are a Facebook fan and a second entry if you follow my blog so please leave a separate comment for each entry!
I will be picking a winner tomorrow night, Monday, March 26th at 9:00 PM EDT. Good luck!
Sadly, I do not own any of your clutches, but I have some on my wish-list. I just love your stuff!!
ReplyDeleteAllo! I love your blog, Celine! I own a clutch that I have now used twice in the past few months. The one you feature is very unique -- I love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Celine, I just love this clutch. The fabric is stunning.
ReplyDeleteTotally in love with this clutch, and the contest is a win-win because I didn't know I could follow you on blogger as well as Facebook.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I don't own one but I'd love too!
ReplyDeleteI dont currently own one but I once needed a small bag for a wedding I was attending and at the time couldnt afford a nice clutch at the store so I used my daughters small black satin purse as one. I tucked in the strap and carried it around an no one was the wiser. ;-) I would use it Im sure for a nice evening out if I had one. I follow you on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteI own a leather clutch I bought 12 years ago. I only use it when going out. I brought it on a business conference this past week and had my essentials in it through an evening dinner. Yours is SO much fancier!
ReplyDeleteI'm a FB fan - of course - I'll share on my page to get you some more entries :) Not sure if I should have added this to my first entry!
ReplyDeleteIt's all good! I think I'm going to have to keep track of everyone because no one is adding a second entry when following my blog!:)

I use one of your clutches EVERY DAY at work. I keep my keys, business cards, work ID, and blackberry in it, and having the wrist strap makes it easy to carry leaving my hands free. It is also easy to find in my purse, and during weekends easy to take work out of my purse. Having chosen the design and fabric make it so enjoyable to use at work...everybody should have one! As you can see I love it :)
ReplyDeleteI have several clutches (as you know *wink wink*). I love them for those days when you don't want to carry a purse but still need to carry the essentials!
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog (that I didn't know even existed until you posted on Facebook!!)...love it!
ReplyDeleteI have also liked you on facebook!
ReplyDelete(and if I didn't do this right, please forgive me...I was a little confused if we could have three entries or two...)
